Maiko and Geiko-san are still alive with their white-painted faces, traditional Japanese hairstyles and fabulous kimonos. Maiko and Geiko-san are traditional Japanese female entertainers who act as hostesses and whose skills include performing various Japanese arts such as classical music, dance, games and conversation, mainly to entertain male customers.
Their role is to make guests feel at ease with conversation,  drinking games and dance performances etc.

There is the maiko who can do the English conversation.

It expresses nature well. It is the horticultural art of miniature potted tree and plants which have been grown for a long time to look as they appear in nature. To keep this up as the trees and plants grow, they are handed down across several generations.

In the house, it is one of the wabi-sabi of Japanese to enjoy spring cherry blossoms and  autumn leaves by Bonsai.
