Letter for Nobusan from USA

Dear Nobuaki-san,

Thank you so much for guiding us around Kyoto.

You treated us so well and told us about the history of what we were seeing.

Yes, I felt that the quieter locations were much more enjoyable. It easier for me to experience the feeling of a place when there is no hustle and bustle.

The hotel in New Hampshire where the Japanese and Russian delegations stayed for the Treaty of Portsmouth was called the Hotel Wentworth. It still exists and is now called Wentworth-by-the-Sea.

It is a nice hotel and we have stayed there a few times.

Again, thank you so much for the tour. We enjoyed your company very much and had some good laughs.

We would like to return someday.

Best Regards,

Thank you very much for having used me for your tour for two days.

I hope you enjoyed my guide.

Both of you are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I also enjoyed our tour.

I showed you some important places and some off-the-beaten-track places.

I hope you noticed off-the-beaten places are better than important places.

Kyoto has many good places to see.

I want to show you them next time.

Best Regards,

Nobuaki Nagata
